Host Committee Appreciation Luncheon
Vero Beach, Florida. September 6, 2007. The Deryl Loar for Indian River Sheriff Campaign announced its upcoming Host Committee Appreciation Luncheon.
"We’re having a Host Committee Appreciation Luncheon out at Hale Grove’s offices for the existing members of our Host Committee and for new supporters to have a chance to spend some one-on-one time getting to know Deryl better," said campaign spokesman Jeff Luther. "We have about 80 members, right now from all walks of life."
Luther continued, "the Host Committee Members help us get Deryl out there to meet their friends and also help out in a variety of other ways."
"The idea started out because I wanted the campaign to be accountable to its supporters much like I think a Sheriff should be accountable to the citizens," said Loar.
The Commander of Florida’s Highway Patrol for the Treasure Coast for the last decade, Loar says he’s ready for his education and experience to benefit his home community.
